2019 Class Lists, Rider Show Notes, Membership and Entry Forms will be updated shortly!

The Dwyer Hill Riding Club, founded in 1995, is an entry-level non-profit organization that promotes good horsemanship and provides mentorship to new and upcoming riders. Horse owners and enthusiasts are encouraged to participate in various equine disciplines in a fun yet safe environment. The Club is managed predominantly by volunteers; however, show expenses are offset through funding from Club members as well from support of local businesses and citizens. We welcome spectators to cheer on riders who range from 4+ years of age to several of our mature members. The shows are all held at the Richmond Fairgrounds (same location as the Richmond Fair).

PAC Approved Shows!

Trail Ride/Poker Run

May 26th - 9am Registration

As all not for profit organizations, we are always looking for volunteers to help!  This is also a great way for students to earn some community service hours!!

The Club is always looking for help at the shows (setting up courses, jumps, etc.) If you are interested, please contact us and let us know.

Mark your calendars for the first annual DHRC Trail Ride/Poker Run scheduled for Sunday May 26th.  Come and enjoy the picturesque trails at Indian Creek Farms in Pakenham!  Just 30 minutes west of Richmond. We would appreciate pre-registration for the Trail Ride so that we can ensure numbers for food count.  To pre-register, please print out the following form and send to Leanne Dryburgh at  613-913-4785.

Earlier News!

Want to send a huge shout out to everyone who attended the 2018 Awards Banquet & Social.  It was a full house and the executive was very excited to see so many people out and taking part in our club. We would like to thank everyone for their questions and great discussions on assisting us with the Constitution changes. Our rules are now up to date and we have a fresh new start for 2019!   If you would like to see the finished product, please click the link here      2019 Constitution

Thanks to everyone for supporting the raffles, silent auction and for the delicious food!  As always, the PotLuck never disappoints!  We would like to send a special thanks to our generous sponsors who donated product for the door prizes and silent auction and to the many volunteers who helped in various ways. Without our sponsors and volunteers, we simply couldn't offer the shows and events we do.

And our thanks wouldn't be complete without thanking all of you....our members, as well as the parents and coaches that support our club from year to year.   Seeing everyone taking part and having fun and enjoying our events is what makes us happy and dedicated to continue to make our club viable and growing so we all have a place to show and have fun.  We are extremely grateful to everyone who supports DHRC and we look forward to an exciting year ahead.
